You say, 'Gee, I love this futa add-on for Schlongs of Skyrim, but there's a texture seam because I'm using a different body texture replacer,' and I guarantee someone will link you a post by someone with the same problem who fixed it, or possibly fix it for you then and there.

I've read like two full pages of one guy, who wasn't even the mod's developer, helping some poor poster who couldn't get his horse kok's flopping properly, all while apologizing for his poor English. And while I rarely read Nexus comments, because they're full of borderline illiterate ESLs begging for 'Guns of Tamriel' to be ported to Xbox or whatever, the discussion threads for mods on LoversLab have people offering constructive feedback - and very involved troubleshooting. Instead of mod authors going nuclear when someone dares touch their retawded, half-formed babies.

I swear every other mod on LoversLab has a line in the description that reads >I want to thank KhajiitCumL0v3r for allowing me to adopt this mod and continue development! It's a great mod and I didn't want it to be exclusive to LE, and sadly KCL doens't have the time to update it these days. However, it's the respect that they have for other adult modders that impresses me most. Maybe I've been conditioned to expect horrible behavior by the broader Skyrim modding community, but adult modders are mostly (mostly) polite and productive.

While everyone praising the DOOM modding community (I'd include Sonic Robo Blast 2, technically), I want to give credit to the Skyrim porn modding community. So you would rather wait 5 seconds for every link despite knowing you're going to download all the textures from the same dude anyways instead of just casually deleting the textures and folders you don't want? Where I get salty is when a mod relies on another that's removed because the modder had a troon moment. Obviously this depends on the game, but for Skyrim I really can't complain about textures. The problem with Bethheads isn't AiOs, it's the community acting like mouth breathing homosexuals. Honestly, I've never found this to be an issue. Now, obviously for major environmental overhauls, I'll be making a beeline to an AiO. As for getting stuff to mesh, if you're slapping cartoon shit next to realistic textures, and it looks shit, that's on the user. As far as individual objects go, I much prefer picking and choosing individual items, making sure they work with other mods like STAC - that kind of shit. Bear in mind, too, that major textural overhauls, like say pfuscher, are AiOs, and are used as a base on top of which you add stuff.

But that's just it, it does give me choice.
